Mostremp awards Iran’s ‘Gold Wells’

Iran’s short film ‘Gold Wells’ has been awarded at the Mostremp, Cinema Rural al Pa in Spain.

‘Gold Wells,’ written and directed by Saeed Timar, won the Best Short Film award at the 11th edition of the festival, Iranian media reports said.

The cast members of the film include Saeed Movahhedi, Sepideh Mousavi, and Mohammad Salamati.

‘Gold Wells’ is about Asma who is trying to save her sister, Azra, from a forced marriage.

The film previously took part in the Bajo la Luna International Film Festival – Islantilla Cineforum in Spain.

The Mostremp, Cinema Rural al Pa screens films with a rural theme.      

The 11th edition of the festival took place on August 11-14.
